How to set the home page in Opera, Chrome, Firefox, IE browsers

Home page or home or home is a web page that loads by default when you start the browser or press the Home button (often a house icon) or when you press a special keyboard shortcut.

1. Installing the home page in Opera

In the browser's main menu, click on "Tools" and then "General Settings.." or press Ctrl+F12 if this combination is not occupied by another running program.

In the "Main" column there is a "Home" field where you need to enter the address or you can click the "Current page" button on the right to make the currently open page home. To open it immediately upon entering the Opera, select "Start from the home page" in the "At startup" field

Click OK and you're done.

2. Installing the start page in Chrome

In the upper right corner, click on the wrench icon and in the menu that appears, click on "Options". The "Main" tab will appear and in the "Home Page" paragraph, select "Next page" and enter the address. To make the page come off immediately when you start the browser, select "Home page" in the first paragraph of the "Initial group".

Close the settings tab.

3. Installing the main page in Firefox

In the upper left menu, click on the "Firefox" button, then "Settings" or if the menu bar is enabled, then click "Tools" / "Settings"

Next, in the Main tab, in the "Home Page" field, enter the address or click the "Use current page" button to make the open tab start. You can also click on the "Use Bookmark" button to select a link from bookmarks. In the "When starting Firefox" field, you can select "Show home page".

4. Installing the home page in Internet Explorer

In the "Tools" menu, click on "Internet Options" and in the window that opens, on the "General" tab, enter the address in the Home Page paragraph. The "Current" button will set the open page as the main page, the "Source" button will set the standard IE page. Click OK and you're done.
